Knoll Ridge Chalet

Perched at the top of the Sky Waka gondola is this gathering of three eateries – NZ's highest restaurants – including the food-truck-style Four Peaks Alley and the cafeteria-style Pātaka. The real treat is Pinnacles, which has quality buffet dining with a focus on beef, lamb and vegetables sourced from around the mountains, set against huge windows with an in-your-face view of the eponymous Pinnacle Ridge.
