Huka Honey Hive

This sweet spot has a glass-enclosed viewing hive, honey tastings and a cafe, and sells all manner of bee products – edible, medicinal and cosmetic – as well as mead. The manuka-honey ice cream is popular at the cafe, but we recommend the honey-and-fig flavour. FYI, manuka honey with a grading above 5+ is for medicinal use.
