Bistro is in danger of underselling itself with its ‘simple but nice’ strapline, given its ability to turn local and seasonal produce into creations such as grilled scotch fillet with roasted beets and Parmesan-battered cauliflower. Walnut-brown from ceiling to floor, the restaurant has a dark, wine-bar feel and a small but thoughtful beer-and-wine list.
