Craft Haus

Taupo & the Ruapehu Region

Ōhakune’s heritage-listed 1909 train station is home to the unusual combo of Opus Fresh, a store producing beautiful merino, possum and silk garments, and the Ruapehu Brewing Co, which makes craft IPA, session ale and pale ale. It also serves Volcano Coffee, which is a roaster that began life in this station, but has since moved to Tūrangi.
