Crash Palace

Crash occupies a big, blue 1930s hotel near Government Gardens. The atmosphere strikes a balance between raucous and relaxed – there's a DJ console behind the bar/reception, but also art on the walls and a hidden-from-the-world backyard. It's a two-minute stroll to the Polynesian Spa (though it also has its own thermally heated hot tub).
