Forget seasonal menus and daily specials; this tried-and-trusted Queenstown stalwart has been dishing up an unchanged menu of pizza and spaghetti for four decades. The reason it's thrived for so long is that everything on the short menu is just like nonna used to make.

The dark, windowless building – it really was once a milking shed – is probably better suited to winter nights than fine summer evenings.
