Occupying a two-storey villa just metres from Ponsonby Rd, Auckland's second Haka Lodge has spotless double rooms, mixed and female-only dorms with charging stations aplenty, and a media room where guests can fire up their own YouTube and Netflix accounts. Other shared spaces include a modern kitchen and sunny garden, and there's also an apartment accommodating up to four guests.
