Wood Pigeon Lodge

Taupo & the Ruapehu Region

Three separate options make up this very comfortable accommodation overflowing with rural charm in Raurimu, around 5km north of National Park Village. Sleeping up to five, the Tree House is self-sufficient for electricity, harnessing wind and solar energy. More cosy and compact is the Hut, with a wonderfully warm wooden interior and an outdoor bathtub. Two-night minimum stay.

For groups of up to 11 people ($20 per person extra after eight people), the Barn is a spacious and rustic option. At this price, you might expect better wi-fi, but given the location it's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors.
