This pretty, farmhouse-like cottage is decorated with baby-blue trim and rambling blooms in summer. Suites are large with period furnishings – two studios share a kitchen, another two are self-contained and the others are great for families – and there's a licensed bar that's perfect for a sundowner after your own Tongariro Crossing.
When we visited there were plans for two more units out the back.
