Gore Historical Museum

Gore Historical Museum, incorporating the Gore visitor centre , celebrates the town's proud history of fishing, farming and Māori heritage. The more-intriguing-than-average collection ranges from a taxidermied mollymawk bird to grandfather clocks and sparkling antiques, alongside tender homages to local passions such as angling and country music.
