Sone-Tu

Yangon

Working primarily with women from the Sumtu sub-group of the Chin people of northern Myanmar, this social enterprise sells gorgeous, high-quality textiles and weavings. It has also revived the art of weaving sarsikyo, ribbons originally used for wrapping Buddhist texts but which Sone-Tu make into prayer bracelets.
