Entering Burma Bistro, it's as if you've slipped through a time warp into a Hollywood version of colonial Rangoon, with the encaustic-tile floor, paper parasols, planters chairs and antique fittings all in place. The Burmese food is tasty and nicely presented, but service can be a bit patchy.
It's a great place for a drink and light snack, particularly in the evenings when there's live music on the upper floor (usually from 7pm on Friday and Saturday).
