Merchant Art Hotel

Yangon

Many colourful canvases decorate the corridors and rooms of this self-styled 'contemporary art boutique' hotel, but the overall feel is tacky, reinforced by walls of fake greenery in the restaurant area. Still, it's a great location and offers an expansive astro-turfed roof with close-up Shwedagon views. The cheapest rooms are windowless.
