Hotel @ Yangon Heritage

Yangon

Some design thought has been put into the conversion of this grand old building into a small hotel. Walls are painted a tasteful grey, setting off a sprinkling of colourful local crafts, and rooms have original features such as pillars. It has stairs only (and they're steep) and the front rooms suffer from street noise.

The 4th-floor bar with a view is a plus.
