Hilton Mandalay

Mandalay

Stroll across ponds through a temple-style gateway to a grand, airy lobby overlooking a large open-air swimming pool in a lush semi-jungle setting. Rooms were undergoing a top-to-bottom renovation during our visit, but expect them to live up to the flashy exterior. It anchors a major intersection, where the Mandalay Palace moat's southern and eastern stretches meet, with good restaurants nearby.
