Leaving all other town-centre hotels in the shade, this enclave of modern, bungalow-style, wood-floored rooms across from the river is reasonably priced and has pleasant, helpful staff. The small pool is a plus, long enough for a few cooling laps after touring Pyay’s sights. Aim for one of the quieter rooms towards the back of the long, thin garden.
