Get to the New Hotel while it's still new (it opened in 2014). Aspiring to be Nampula's poshest hotel, it lays on the service (bellboys in waistcoats accompany you to your room) and facilities (gym, pool, restaurant and business centre). The rooms are very white and/or creamy and comfortable, but somehow it all lacks a bit of character. No alcohol served.
