Tangier

Mohamed's shop bordering Petit Socco sells curated capes, vests, shoes and leather goods made by cooperatives in Chefchaouen and Fez. Most notably, the shopkeeper sells his own artwork, including painted scenes of refugees on popsicle sticks or the last paper in a cigarette pack. Postcards (Dh10) made with Mohamed's drawings also make for a good keepsake or to send home.
