Taroudant
Consisting of adjoining medina houses, this colourful hotel is a warren of staircases, terraces, lounges and a hammam. The nine rooms and suites, three of which have private terraces, are unfussily artistic. Free bikes are offered to guests, and meals are served in elegant common areas. There are two plunge pool concealed amid the Moroccan design wizardry.
