La Mouette Gourmande

Set in Essaouira's ancient mellah (Jewish quarter), the Greedy Seagull is part restaurant, part social project, training women in culinary skills to help them find employment. Enjoy the fruits of their labour – tajines, couscous, grilled fish and brochettes (kebabs) – with a panoramic view over the ocean. Reserve by telephone at least three hours in advance.
