Villa Beldi

This striking villa 3km south of the medina, is now a sprawling boutique hotel, furnished with retro finds and design pieces, with a photogenic pool and peacocks strutting around. The garden restaurant serves a modern Mediterranean menu – think grilled calamari and salad niçoise – and is open to nonguests at lunchtime. At night, a three-course dinner focuses on Moroccan flavours (Dh250).
