Michlifen Ifrane

Ifrane

Overlooking Ifrane from the north, this oversized ski-lodge-style hotel is one of Morocco’s most luxurious. Local cedar and stone is evident throughout the rather dark interior, with rooms echoing a luxury chalet. The view from the pool is sublime and you can even fish in the river that runs through the hotel grounds. There's a sumptuous bar and a restaurant.

The spa is the largest in North Africa, and Jack Nicklaus designed the golf course. Rates rise on weekends.
