Don't be put off by the alarming intergalactic-castle exterior; this is possibly the best restaurant in Montenegro's north. Inside, its elegant decor sets the tone for a superb dining experience, with excellent fresh lake fish, mouth-watering grills and a handful of vegetarian offers all crafted with flair and local, organic ingredients. The owners have extensive overseas restaurant experience, and it shows.
Abas is a three-minute drive from Plav's centre, just before the Lake Views campground. They also have some rooms (€20) available upstairs if you want to stick around for breakfast the next morning.
