The views are expansive, but expensive this friendly place is not. Perched up in Ulcinj's Stari Grad, Kalaja's nine decent – if unthrillingly furnished – rooms and apartments are housed in an old, rambling stone house that overlooks the sea and the gorgeous hodgepodge of Ulcinj city below. The excellent attached restaurant is open to – and whoppingly popular with – nonguests.
