Hotel Central

Moldova

The best lodging in town is this small, partly renovated hotel opposite the mothballed Dacia Theatre in the centre of town. The ground level rooms are mediocre, but the situation improves dramatically upstairs, where amenities like spruced-up bathrooms, balconies, and luggage racks lurk.

There's a small hammam (Turkish steam bath) and the terrace restaurant is good.
