Hotel del Peregrino

Top choice in Mérida

A former house and now guesthouse-cum-hotel, Peregrino's 13 clean, if dated, rooms comprise a mishmash of furniture and some modern creature comforts, such as Netflix. A different full breakfast is served in a patio downstairs each day of the week, and upstairs you can relax in the hotel's rooftop hot tub. Towel origami animals on the beds are a lovely touch.

The hotel has recently installed air-con units that use 60% less power, a nice boost to the environment.
