On the south side of the soccer field, this large whitewashed hotel has a relaxed resort feel, plenty of common areas and large, clean rooms with Netflix. We only wish ‘the gift from the heavens’ – that’s what Matan Ka’an means in Maya – included beach access, but hey, the ocean is only 100m away.
