This friendly local restaurant decorated with antiquated farm implements serves its house specialty, the eponymous zapote (chimichanga), with pride but also does a mean pozole (traditional soup or stew made with hominy, pork and chillies) and carne en su jugo (‘meat in its juice,’ a type of beef soup; M$70) and is very popular with locals.
