Bungalows Lydia

Central Pacific Coast

Overlooking two hidden beaches and surrounded by 2000 palm trees planted by the owners themselves, this restful cliffside haven appeals to those seeking solitude and communion with nature. Of the eight fan-cooled suites on offer, the 'Sunset' and 'Panaroma' provide the best ocean views (as does an infinity pool at the cliff's edge). It's 3km east of town along a dirt road.

It's best to have your own wheels to get out here. There's no onsite restaurant, but the suites have full kitchens. A saltwater pool awaits on the beach below.
