Heven, at the risk of sounding trite, is pretty heavenly: a beautifully designed walled compound arranged around an infinity pool, lush gardens and winding stairways punctuated with balconies and a shapely tower that (intentionally) recalls the whitewashed glories of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. The rooms, which have lured musicians and writers in the past, are classy and charismatic.
Most have kitchen facilities, and all have fans and handsome handcrafted Mexican furniture.
