Hotel Casa Arnel

Oaxaca City

The first joy of Casa Arnel is its location in the hushed, cobbled Jalatlaco quarter. Second joy: like most houses in the barrio, it has a lovely 'secret' garden. Rooms come third on the list but they are, nonetheless, clean, well-kept and have attractive color schemes in this traveler-friendly family-run hotel.

There are bikes or cars to rent, breakfast and helpful traveler services. The bright little Cafe El Ágora de Jalatlaco under the same ownership, is next door.
