Teresita's

Top choice in Sonora

It's quite amazing that somewhere as small and remote as Álamos boasts this simply outstanding bakery-cum-bistro. There's an open kitchen and a changing menu that features mouthwatering salads, roast meat dishes and delicious breakfasts, as well as offerings less usual in rural Mexico: fettuccine alfredo, gazpacho and creative veggie burgers topped with mozzarella and avocado.

Desserts are fully catered for with sublime cakes and pastries. Excellent breakfasts too. Either eat in the fountain-flanked garden or enjoy the comfort of a royal-blue banquette inside.
