Maiolica pottery and other handicrafts are on sale, as are sweet treats like nieves (a type of sorbet: try cream and dried fruits mantecado flavor) and indigenous Otomi food: vituaya, a salad with cabbage, chickpeas, carrots, onions is delicious.
