Hacienda Soltepec

A 4.5km drive south of town, this gorgeous renovated hacienda is a former movie set (María Félix stayed here for months while filming one of her classics) with views of La Malinche, horse stables, tennis courts and a fantastic restaurant. Bright rooms have high ceilings and polished floorboards. Its own pulque brewery is open for visits on Saturday and Sunday.
