This handsome hotel, 100m uphill from the zócalo and a short walk from the bus station, has three large courtyards full of chirping birds, a swimming pool, a good restaurant featuring local fruit liqueurs and 36 simple rooms with tropical colors, tiled floors, lots of lightly stained wood and cable TV. The common-area-only wi-fi barely reaches the front rooms near the office.
