Hotel La Siesta

Don't let the garish pink exterior or the tacky generic tropical art in the rooms put you off; La Siesta is a good Centro Histórico option if you can snag one of the choice sea-view rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies overlooking Playa Olas Altas. The pleasant central courtyard and attached restaurant are good places to meet other travelers.
