Chapel 5 Suites

Top choice in Malta

Run by a couple who work in aviation, this place has 10 rooms in a converted townhouse set in central Naxxar, with Indonesian and Moroccan furniture and flagstone floors and walls. Excellent buffet breakfasts are served in a central dining room, and the five newest rooms are themed after the owners' favourite places (hint: Rome, Thailand and Seville may feature).

Every booking comes with one complimentary massage – other sessions can be booked on request – and yoga takes place on the rooftop terrace on a weekly basis. The welcoming owners have excellent recommendations for local restaurants.
