Gilligan's is tucked away on a small sandy bay in the north of the island, scenically located opposite Pulau Dayang. With air-con rooms, restaurant, beach bar and terrific diving opportunities, it makes a quiet, secluded base and the views are gorgeous. Packages are available or you can just pay for the room, but in either case the ferry ticket from Mersing is extra.
Boats for the two-night package depart Mersing on Friday and return on Sunday and also leave Mersing on Wednesday to return on Friday; for the three-night package, boats arrive at Pulau Aur on Sunday and leave on Wednesday.
