At the distinctive Tubotel, tucked away at Nelayan Jetty north of the Pantai Cenang strip, rooms are individual concrete pipes whose snug interiors house surprisingly comfy beds (bathrooms are in a separate block); the four-bed dorms are in disused shipping containers.
