Crowd-pleasing dishes such as stir-fried noodles, ginger stewed duck and sweet-and-sour pork are very competently done here, but it's primarily the courtyard setting – outdoor tables surrounded by the comings and goings from the surrounding low-rise public housing block – that is the clincher.
