Laban Rata Resthouse

The place where most hikers stay at Laban Rata before making a predawn assault on the peak of Mt Kinabalu consists of simple, unheated dorms and three heated twin rooms. The building's been spruced up since the 2015 earthquake. Everyone chows down in the large cafeteria. Nearby Waras Hut accommodates the overflow from the dorms.
