Yuit Cheong

Kota Kinabalu

Though this kopitiam (coffee shop) has moved around during its long history, it's still going strong after more than 100 years in business and is KK's oldest coffee shop. It's renowned for its toast with kaya (coconut jam) and at noon the satay stall kicks off by the entrance, serving sizzling skewers of fragrant beef and chicken satay to a packed house.
