Akinabalu Hostel

Jolly hostel with a welcoming common area, plant-filled space with water feature and bold, crimson-and-lime-green rooms. Some have natural light, while others face the corridor. It's worth splurging RM10 extra on air-con. The staff are friendly and helpful.
