Run by the hospitable Hobaya family, the Relais is a pleasant enough halt on the Diego–Nosy Be route. The rooms are comfortable with fans and nets. The garden is planted with drought-resistant plants to allow for limited water resources. The food is good, too (three-course meals Ar40,800). The Hobayas speak English, Spanish, Italian and French.
It's better to phone for a reservation as emails are rarely answered.
