This place, well signposted 10km off the Belo-sur-Tsiribihina–Kirindy road, is blissfully quiet. There's a range of fascinating activities (including visits to local fishing villages, local salt pans, mangrove excursions and birdwatching at the nearby Ramsar-listed wetlands). The cottages are excellent value (the bungalows less so). It sees fewer tourists than it deserves out here, so come before word gets out.
