Mavrovo National Park
Near Mavrovo town, the Bistra has comfortable, clean, rather dated rooms and some of the park's best amenities. These include a restaurant, bar, pool, Turkish bath and sauna for cultivating that ski-lodge glow, plus spas in the deluxe rooms. Prices are lowest in summer, when it's a wonderful place to retreat to, with sweeping views.
