Café Em Nazih

Top choice in Beirut

Tucked away in true urban style under a hostel and in the shade of an overpass, this excellent semi-open space brings together locals and foreigners, students and artists. It's a venue for cheap beer, weekend gigs or a sociable waterpipe as well as the food (order and pick up at the counter inside), which is decent and very fairly priced.

Turn off Pasteur at the Coral petrol station, then turn right down the stairs, or descend via the Saifi Gardens hostel entrance.
