Recently reopened, Aaliya’s is a homely gem. The space houses a bookstore with a well-curated selection and weekly readings, as well as a cafe that serves up an eclectic mix of Lebanese, British and continental plates. It’s a convivial atmosphere populated by regulars chatting with the friendly owners, as well as curious bibliophiles browsing the stacks. Ask to pet the owner Niamh’s dog Flicka.
