Nestled on the flank of one of Beirut’s iconic stairways, this place enjoys a privileged position in the heart of the Gemmayzeh district, with great bars and eateries just steps away. Rooms and dorms are luminous and attractive, with blonde wood and comfortable beds. The en-suite rooms are up several flights of stairs but worth the climb. Management is warmly welcoming.
Among the perks of the place are a selection of Lebanese beers, a well-decorated outdoor patio and tasty homemade meals. The hotel hosts gigs and art exhibitions that attract a local crowd; good for mingling.
