Le Vieux Port

Réunion

A fine specimen of a restaurant, Le Vieux Port is ideally situated in a tropical garden about 500m south of the 2007 lava flow. It is strictly local cuisine – albeit of a refreshingly creative nature. Locals rave about the rôti porc palmiste (smoked pork with palm-heart salad) and the grilled fish. Takeaway is available. Reservations are advised on Sunday.
